Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the music world, is an British musician and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. He is the father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where as well as three of his classmates He formed his own band, White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performances. He always showed an interest in music, but he wanted to become a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to support his family, he spent a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. This is why his group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first created in the year 2010. The group performed hits like My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the contenders to win the award. They came third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not take home the prize. However Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
