Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up living in Orange County. She graduated at the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the year in which she received her first big break as an actor. Pernas had a few appearances on NCIS and Leverage however she was able to land the role in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless.
