Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre since a young time. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both at and off campus. When he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he received his induction into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local children's Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It ran for 6 years. The couple also had two children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also known by the name Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the name Julie).
