Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Elson was born in the United States and began in acting as a child actress and model, before becoming a professional actress, is famous for her portrayal of Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea auditioned for and was awarded the part in the role of Lynn Tanner on the hit ALF ALF (1986). She worked on many hit TV shows and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she quit the entertainment world to focus on her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner - the teenager daughter of Kate and Willie during a time when she had been going through a turbulent period. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of an audience that viewed sitcoms was difficult. In New York City in 1969, Elson grew within the world of traveling because her father was a travelling salesman. When she was ten years old Andrea had lived within New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea found an agent who was based in San Diego and won her audition for her first part. Fusco stated that ALF is 285 and can therefore drink beer. When ALF started to become more popular, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking alcohol in front of the kids. This was not a good character for a role model. Fusco thought ALF could drink alcohol even as an adult. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma, which was successfully treated and remained in remission up to the end of 2019. On June 26, 2019 at age 75, he died of the illness at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood, New Jersey.
